ABOUT US

The Executive Development Program’s purpose is to add human capital and strategic value.  We do so through a portfolio of offerings: Custom Programs, Partner Programs, Open Enrollment Programs, a Speakers Bureau, and Sponsored Research and Advisory.  We work closely with your organization to understand your unique needs, upon which we design and deliver targeted learning and development solutions.

Program Design

EDP’s programs range from a single day to several months distributed over an appropriate time-frame, all based on your needs and goals. Each of our programs are different and can focus on a single topic or cover a broad range of subject areas such as financial valuation, strategic planning, and international negotiations. All program curricula are finalized with input from our clients. To request a meeting with our team to discuss a program for your organization please email us.

EDP also conducts Sponsored Research and Advisory which offers an objective analysis of your organization, examining vital aspects of performance and infrastructure. It is a complete and systematic diagnostic analysis which identifies your company’s strategic challenges by examining strengths as well as weaknesses to formulate a company specific plan of action. Often times, this analysis serves as the basis for a custom program design.

Renowned Fellows and Faculty

All EDP programs our taught by our world-renowned fellows and faculty . Their collective expertise creates a learning experience that will enable your organization to benefit from both the latest academic research and cutting-edge best practices.

State-of-the-Art Facilities

In January 2006, the School of Business opened its new complex, the newly constructed Ric and Dawn Duquès Hall and the renovated Norma Lee and Morton Funger Hall. This complex provides students, faculty, and staff with a unified center for study and career development activities. Programs can be taught at this location, at one of your facilities, or at an off-site location of your choosing.

Unparalleled Location

One of the school's greatest advantages is its location in downtown Washington, D.C. Within blocks of campus are The White House, the World Bank, and the International Monetary Fund, as well as the headquarters and offices of thousands of national and multinational corporations, non-profit's, and nongovernmental organizations. At GWSB, you'll truly be at the center of it all.
