The George Washington University

International Education & Programs

The George Washington University School of Business is committed to preparing its students to engage in the global environment. We recognize that it is important for our graduate students to have access to practical international experiences that will lead to successful careers in the United States and abroad.  Whether you are a domestic or international student, the opportunities outlined below will foster academic and professional growth, allowing you to supplement your classroom studies with applied experience in an international context.

Study Abroad – There are many educational opportunities outside of the United States that allow you to engage first-hand in the world of business.  Programs are taught in English as well as foreign languages.  Short-term and semester-long international study options are available led by GW faculty and through our partner institutions abroad.  All of these opportunities are tailored for graduate students studying business to allow you to make the most of both your academic program at GW and your experience abroad.

Exchange Opportunities – The GW School of Business maintains, and is continually developing, partnerships with prestigious business schools across the globe. Learn more about our partner schools and opportunities for you to participate in a summer session or semester-long exchange between GW and these schools.

International Students – People come from all over the world to study at the GW School of Business, and we welcome their valuable contributions to our programs. In this section you will find information for international students, including details about orientation and campus resources.
