With over a decade of educating successful project managers, this unique program blends the study of project management with a grounding in general management principles, and guides students in mastering advanced project management techniques. The innovative curriculum balances practice and theory, developing the skills that professionals need to become effective project managers.
The MSPM program is ideal for managers who want to enhance their ability to integrate complex projects, motivate people, and achieve cost-effective results. It is designed to meet the needs of working professionals. Courses are offered on campus in the evening at the Foggy Bottom location, and using state-of-the-art distance learning technology, students can complete the degree from virtually any location.
George Washington’s MSPM program will help you…
And you will be part of one of the best and longest-running PM programs in the world at the prestigious George Washington University!
At GWU, we offer our MSPM program in two modes: campus and distance learning. The campus mode is held in the School of Business on the main Washington, DC campus. Courses are held in the evenings and occasionally Saturday morning. The distance mode is held virtually, using captured video lectures and supplemental live chat sessions. The lecture and chat combination allows students taking class in the distance mode to fully interact with peers and instructors.
The MSPM program is a 36 credit hour program that can be completed as a full-time or part-time student. Full-time students take nine credit hours each semester, and usually finish the program in two years. Part-time students take between three and six credit hours a semester. Most part-time students finish the program in two and a half to three years, although students have up to five years to complete their degree.
