The George Washington University

Professional MBA

We think it’s possible for business leaders to lead more than their businesses.  By bringing a new level of energy and knowledge to the business world, you can set the tone for a new spirit in this country and around the globe.  The GW Professional MBA (PMBA), our part-time program, is based on the concepts of ethics, global business, and leadership.  It’s bold.  It’s more than passive classroom learning; it’s a dynamic experience in teamwork, critical thinking, and judgment.  Join the next generation of leaders here, in the center of international government and business.  Join The George Washington University School of Business Professional MBA program.

The GW PMBA program prepares you for success on multiple levels.  That means you’ll be proficient in the fundamentals of business and management, as well as doing what’s right.  This is a program immersed in values, rigorous in theory, and experiential in practice.  Collaborate with a remarkable cross-section of high-level professionals from the public, private, and nongovernmental sectors.  Formulate real solutions to real management issues with your classmates.  And enjoy the flexibility of a program that allows you to accelerate your career and still be a full-time professional.

In the PMBA program, both diversity and individuality are valued.  You may work at your own pace to finish 52.5 credits in as little as two years or up to five years.  We offer two options for completing the PMBA; the structured and fast-paced Accelerated MBA (AMBA) or the self-paced Flexible MBA (Flex MBA).  Both formats are delivered in seven-week modules, with most classes held evenings and week-ends.  The AMBA program is offered at the Foggy Bottom campus in Washington, D.C., and at the Virginia Campus in Ashburn, Virginia.   The Flex MBA is offered only at the Foggy Bottom
campus.
