
The Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE)'s mission is to provide programs that inspire young people from low-income communities to stay in school, to recognize business opportunities and to plan for successful futures. Established in 1994, the DC Region NFTE office has assisted 24,000 students from low-income communities with entrepreneurship education programs.
NFTE University, a four-day intensive training program for educators delivering information about entrepreneurship, is held at GWU. NFTE U at GWU 2012 dates: July 23-27.
NFTE offers BizCamps, a World Series of Innovation, and a National Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge, among other programs. Learn more at http://www.nfte.com/.
